Wow. That made me laugh. I couldn't believe what she said. I stopped dead in my tracks. It was like memories came flashing back all at once. I wasn't sure if I should be pissed or laugh, so i laughed. As always memories that I thought were gone...are not. It doesn't bother me, but it doesn't sit well. I do believe that it is good to have a reminder of where you came from. But it made me think....-How different am I from then-if at all?-

Turkey Day

I am so blessed to have good friends that care about me. I had Jamie, Sabrina, and Megan stop by to bring me a plate for Thanksgiving. It means so much to me. I wish that I wasn't working today so that I can eat with my friends and pass out! It's alright though. I am the only one of the supervisors who doesn't have family here to go and spend time with. My dad, sister, and her husband are spending Thanksgiving in Sun City with my dad's cousins. My mom is in Palm Springs with her boyfriend and his family. Which leaves me here at work. It's such an awesome feeling to have people that care enough to bring Thanksgiving to me since I can't go to it. Thank you ladies. It means the world to me. Happy Thanksgiving!

Alright so the ongoing joke of the night with Laura was that she would not be giving me any "SERIOUS" faces to work with. Only ones with blank down syndrome looks. I must say, they were mildly entertaining. Thanks Buddy. You are the Best. Laura is "the cute blonde." Megan is the YOUNG lady with the darker hair looking like she is having an AMAZING time. Happy Birthday Ladies, I love you both dearly.

I think I will make this one a DVD and VHS cabinet. I'm not sure what design to put on it. I still have to figure that out. I sanded it down before I painted. The wood was in perfect shape to be painted. I have a feeling this will turn out nicely.
