Savers Pimp

I ventured into a Savers over the weekend. We found a really awesome painting while we were there, and I found these. A Pimp has donated his shoes to a Savers. Passing down the finest of the pimperies. Pretty awesome right? I laughed super hard when seeing these. Can you imagine. Starting out on your New Pimp Adventure, and finding the right shoes right away in a Savers? That has to be heart stopping good pimpery. Make sense? The Melting Pot

Deena and I ventured to the Melting Pot over the weekend. Their food is so delicious. Like WOW. We had  1 appetizer, 1 entree, and dessert. We were both so full. The food, and service are impeccable. Our server was really really nice, and the food was to die for. It was a good date night. I like to treat my little lady every now and again. Holler! I recommend this place for sure.

Duck Tacos

I know what you're thinking. Ew! Right? Well, you are wrong dear friends. Duck is the bomb. For real. Deena and I went to Padre's mexcian over the weekend. It was like boom boom pow flavor in mi boca. Muy bueno! Ok enough. It was really good. Deena kept saying, "Yucky Ducky" throughout the meal, but it was so friggin good bro. Holler!

I don't know why, but I totally think it's cool to have my name in a copy machine. Granted I don't like that it says "Louisa"....but meh. It's all good. And awesome. I mean really. My name is in a copy machine! Woot!

Phoenix Birthday Party

I went to my friend Crystal's this weekend to celebrate her birthday...saw her toilet paper holder and had to look 3-70 times before realizing what this was. Do you see what I see? Yup. Truck tacos

In all fairness you could potentially be sabotaging your health by eating from one of these trucks. On the other hand. They are normally the best taco/burrito/ chimi whatever you have ever had. I seriously miss being back home in southern california where you see one of these almost every 1/2 mile on the beach. They are so good. For those of you who don't know, pack some pepto if you head to the beach and eat off these trucks. Mmmm...I hate diets. I am hungry! Hoot and holler!

Dirty Beach story

Is it odd that I still want to go to the beach after seeing this? I mean really. I love love love the beach. All I want to do is clean this up, then kick the crap out of whatever chump threw this in the ocean. It makes me mad that some people can be so careless. Who would want to pollute something so fun, so beautiful, so big, so....salty? I mean really though. I love Venice beach. It's probably my favorite beach of all time. I love the shops and all the fun stuff to do while walking the surf. I especially love the drunk idiots who think they can make a sassy remark to me without reaction. I know that for some on lookers I appear to have Tourettes syndrome. :) Sucks for yooooo hooooo. Holler. Oh and P.S. Stop polluting the beach biotch.

Mother's Day Stamps

This morning Deena and I avidly filled out our Mother's Day cards, and my Grandma has a birthday coming up (85). I went into work to purchase some stamps and put the cards in the mail. To my enjoyment these stamps were available. How cool is this?!?! I love Lucy?!? Howdy Doody?!?! The Red Shelton Show?!?! So flippin cool. My mom will totally dig this. And hopefully so will Deena's mom and my Grandma. Stamps used to be state birds and flowers. Now they have I love Lucy stamps. Who's headed to the post office after work?? ME. Have a great Mom's day this weekend! Holler!

Junebug

You cannot tell me that you would not be overjoyed to see his pretty wittle face every morning. I took this a few days ago. He is my pride and joy. He also got a bath last night. Oddly enough he is totally fine with a bath. He doesn't freak out like most cats do. I think it's because he loves me. He is such a good boy. Hoot and holler.

AZ Driver's License

Jenni went and got her Drivers license this weekend. I taught her how to parallel park about 30 minutes before her test. I felt like a proud parent that day. I even printed out the entire 72 page DMV booklet so that she could study. It was nice to help someone out. Now her and Sirena will have insurance, a car, and a drivers license to use both. :) Yay for Jeni No-Ling. :)

Cricket Phone Battery

Why doesn't anyone warn you that the box they send looks like a bomb kit. Jenni got this in the mail today. It is a simple cellular phone. Instead it looks like C4. Go ahead. Blow it up (the picture) and see for yourself. That's just silly. Can you imagine trying to get through airport with this box? Not gonna happen. Woot.

Best Chicken Sandwich

I know that this does not look like much. But really it was the bomb. First I took cream cheese, and mixed in Dill seasoning. Left that refrigerate for a bit. Then grabbed the George Foreman grilled. Season some chicken with some garlic salt and Lawry's. Topped the chicken with cheese while on the grill. Toasted some bread. Spread the dill, and added chicken. It was the mother truckin bomb. For real. I'm a fatty. What can I say? :) Hoot and holler.

The story of the $5 Juice

So...if you have ever been to Las Vegas you know that regular items are quite expensive in the gift shops. I paid $5 for this juice right here. I normally pay no more than $2 for this at Wal-Mart or any other grocery store. I bought this to go with my Pomegranate Vodka. I thought it would be a good mix together. Well, turns out I didn't get to drink the vodka, so the juice was never opened. When we are about to leave, all I could think was that I bought this $5 juice, and now I can't even have it. LAME. What did I do you ask? Did I save this juice from inevitable trashing? Did I bring it home with me? Well, the answer is yes. We had a plastic ice bucket that was brought to our room for champagne. Well, I filled that bad boy with ice, and brought this little $5 juice home with me. What can I say? Waste not. Want not. Hoot.

June Bug
