Cutest Cat Ever

He is so loving and oh so cute. I feel like that red head from tiny toons who squeezes the crap out of cute animals. I just love him. He is like a child to me. I think Deena has come accustomed to his ways too. She used to think cats were stupid. Not this one though. He is smart, cute, loving, amazing, any word that describes the perfect cat. Earthquakes in California

Wow. First sign of any earthquake in Arizona. Ever. It wasn't here, but we could feel it in my office. Right in the heart of Phoenix, and at my house.

(CNN) -- A string of earthquakes and aftershocks rattled the Pacific Coast of the United States and Mexico on Sunday, including a magnitude 7.2 quake that could be felt across Baja California, Arizona and southern California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.


There were no immediate reports of injuries and only limited reports of damages from that quake, which struck at 3:40 p.m. PT about 175 kilometers (110 miles) east-southeast of Tijuana

Red Lipstick

There is something so incredibly sexy about dark makeup. Don't get me wrong, goth is not my particular taste. To each his own, just not mine. But dark eye liner, mascara, and red lipstick. Wow. Wrist Watch Communicator

So...DeAndrea and I joked at one point about having wrist watch communicators...well. I found some. OH YEAH! And they work which is even cooler. I know this is super lame to everyone, but it is so cool to me. We can't be more than 10 feet away from each other before hearing heavy amounts of static, but that is not the point! The point is we are SPY CHIX, and we are on a mission.

Drape Kitty

Cairo (a cat) came to have a sleep over with Junior this past weekend. (I'm ridiculous, I know) At first, Junior was really scared of her, and hissed and ran away from her. Which is weird, because they grew up together. So...what does Junior do? He hides behind the curtains in the master bedroom. Here I was walking around the house "Here kitty kitty, Junior where are you?" And boom. I find him behind this drape. I pretend as if I can't see him, and continue to call for him. He even closes his eyes so that he can't see me. I SWEAR he is not a normal cat. I love him for this reason. I love you Junior! Holler

Wow. This was $2.99. WTF. Like seriously. What is this thing? I am certain that at some point it was someone's art project or something, but wow. This is scary....it kinda looks like Aboo from Aladdin. No really. It does...in a coconut kinda way. Hoot

Guns and Mirrors

Goodwill

You would be seriously surprised at what you can find at the Goodwill. So many *Good* things. So every 2 weeks they have this 50% off day. Deena and I like to go and check out what they have. Well, this week we found some really cool stuff. First I found this old timey record and AM/FM player. It looks like an old ugly cabinet. And that is EXACTLY what the people of goodwill thought it was. It has the original owners manual, and the best part. It works. Record player and tuner all work. And this thing sounds awesome. I thought of my dad immediately and for $5, I bought it for him. Yes folks. $5. I searched online and found that this model is a 1968 Silvertone from Sears. Retailed at $320.

Next was this desk that someone was "trying" to re-finish. They did a great job with the top of the desk. The tiling and the grout are all in good shape. But the paint job. WOW. The desk was black, then orange, then a pink color with green flowers. Yikes. Deena saw the potential in this one. A $5 desk, and a $1 tube of paint turned this desk into this:

And this final one is just me being...well me. I found a a Gazelle in one of the goodwills and couldn't help but stop to have a quick work out. Deena almost fell on this thing, and honestly...so did I, but SHhhhh! I look awesome right? I should totally bo on that commercial with that Fabio wannabe dude. We would look so cool! Hoot and Holler!

Food Bank

Deena and I went to the Food Bank on Friday to get a food box. You would not believe how much food they give you for $13. It’s seriously unbelievable. 2 BOXES full, and 2 paper bags full of food. It was awesome. We went down to a homeless shelter on Washington St. and donated the food to a shelter. It is seriously unbelievable how far $13 can really go. Everyone should do that if you have an extra $13 lying around. Funny part. Our own refrigerator is completely empty. :) Holler

Mexican Train Dominoes

I went over to Toni's place last night and played some Mexican train with her and Xan. Some of my best times have been spent while playing Mexican train. The first picture someone famous did for me. Ok...I lined them up. :) The second picture is of Toni trying to clean all of the Dominoes. You see. At one point we played at my house...someone spilled some jager, and all the dominoes got yucky. So Toni decided to get a few baby wipes and clean the tiles as we went. Funny gil Wipes are for butts! :) Holler

McDonalds pickles

Deena and I got McDonald's and some movies last night. There was something I noticed that made me think a little. On BOTH McDoubles there was only 1 single solitary pickle. Just one little pickle trying to do it's little pickly job. That's one bite of pickle cheeseburger. Just ONE! What if I was a pickle lover? If I asked for EXTRA pickle would they give me a total of 2 pickles? Hmm...food for thought. Good think I don't like pickle. Or I would be in a pickle! Ha. Lame. Hoot.
